CQT Certified Trainer Program (Second Batch)

May 31, 2020  |  Published by: ICT Singapore  |  Editor: Catherine Wong

The second batch of the CQT Certified Trainer Program kicked off in January 2020. A large number of business leaders and senior executives signed up for the program. They aimed to gain in-depth understanding and mastery of CQ philosophies, mindsets, methodologies and full systems, so as to drive transformation, innovation and breakthroughs more effectively within their organizations and deliver better business results. Meanwhile, many professional trainers also enrolled in this international certification program, choosing CQ Management as their core training course to deliver.

Unlike conventional certification programs that issue certificates after just 2 to 4 days of training and provide simplified copyrighted course materials and teaching manuals for rigid, formulaic delivery using identical content, cases and stories, the CQT Certified Trainer Program goes far beyond that. Such superficial training only covers the first or second learning stages, yields poor training performance and fails to align training with corporate development goals.

Certified and licensed CQ trainers are required to draw on the core essence, theories, models, tools and methodologies of CQ, and combine them with their personal experience, client cases and real-life stories. They adopt diversified training approaches to inspire positive changes among participants and achieve high-impact training outcomes.

The CQT CQ Certified Trainer Program is more than a mere certification course. Beyond licensing copyrighted courses for delivery, we provide a complete system and ongoing platform support to facilitate the sustainable development of participating organizations.

Our mission and ultimate goal are to deliver effective training for corporate clients and individuals, helping them achieve breakthroughs and positive transformation in work and life.

We focus on end-to-end training design, diversified teaching methodologies, practical tools and application support, rather than merely imparting theories and lectures. Through varied interactive teaching arrangements, participants gain immersive experience, profound insights, voluntary mindset shifts and expanded vision.

Program Framework & Certification Process

1. Participants join the CQT CQ Certified Trainer Program hosted by ICT Singapore. They need to complete two phases of learning (4 days in total) within 3 months before taking the teaching assessment.

   - Phase 1: Standard CQ Management Copyrighted Courses + 1-month group practical exercises

   - Phase 2: CQ trainer skills training, assessment and learning of consulting-style training evaluation

2. Upon successful completion of Phase 2 and passing all assessments, participants will receive a USB drive containing the full official materials of the CQ Management Copyrighted Courses (CQ Copyrighted Courses). The package includes PPT slides, curriculum frameworks and schedules, activity guidelines, classroom layout plans, supporting toolkits and standard training outlines. To obtain the copyright license, participants shall sign the CQ Copyright Course Licensing Agreement with ICT and receive the official CQT Operation Manual.

3. Participants will proceed to complete Phase 3 (2 days) and Phase 4 internship with on-the-job mentoring over the subsequent 9 months.

    - Phase 3: CQ management consulting, diagnosis and solution design

    - Phase 4: Two rounds of group coaching and on-site teaching guidance

4. After finishing all internship requirements (delivering two full 2-day sessions of CQ copyrighted courses) and passing final review, participants will be officially accredited as ICT Authorized CQT International CQ Certified Trainers. They will be awarded the CQT International CQ Trainer Certificate and the CQ Copyright Course License (CQ License) issued by ICT.

Supplementary Online CQT Courses During the Pandemic

From March to June 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we launched monthly supplementary online courses focusing on the SMACER Innovation Toolkit. The sessions covered relevant theories, real cases and practical applications, and guided participants to design and implement innovation projects for their own businesses. The courses received overwhelmingly positive feedback.

These online programs enabled continuous effective learning during the difficult period. They also helped participants and their organizations adopt innovative thinking, adjust working models and improve overall operational efficiency.
