Date: October 31, 2019 | Published by: ICT Singapore | Editor: Catherine Wong
The inaugural CQT CQ Certified Trainer Program was launched in August 2019, with participants completing two phases of learning and practical training in November 2019. Held in Shanghai, the program drew wide acclaim from numerous international professional trainers and senior corporate managers.
With 17 years of research and market-tested practices, CQ (Change Quotient) Management has proven its tangible value. It empowers individuals and organizations to achieve remarkable progress, break through bottlenecks and keep pace with the times, fostering a culture of continuous change and innovation. In this fast-evolving era, CQ Management has become an indispensable competency for sustaining the vitality of every organization, team and individual.
Mr. James Chin, founder of CQ and a lead mentor and consultant with over 17 years of experience cultivating international professional trainers across the Asia-Pacific region, launched the CQT CQ Certified Trainer Program in 2019 to pass on the consulting-style training methodologies and teaching philosophies of CQ Management.
In this program, mentors provide hands-on guidance to help participants master the skills of delivering CQ Management training. Participants are granted access to a complete, market-proven copyrighted curriculum and operational system, along with official training authorization and certification. By cultivating a cohort of professional CQ trainers and authorizing the use of copyrighted courses, the program helps more enterprises effectively drive transformation, innovation and breakthroughs, and accomplish business goals.
Founded by Singapore’s Mr. James Chin, CQ centers on three core pillars: embracing change, pursuing innovation and achieving breakthroughs. The curriculum is designed to help individuals, enterprises and teams adapt to changes, implement creative initiatives, and boost full engagement and collaboration.
A Curriculum Polished Over 17 Years
Inclusive & Scalable Framework
Built on a three-dimensional development model with broad market coverage, the program is universally applicable and practical for:
Flexible & Compatible Program Modes
It can be tailored into multiple forms to meet diverse needs:
After three months of practical learning and workshop sessions, followed by formal assessments, participants of the first CQT CQ Certified Trainer Program received a USB drive containing the full official materials for the CQ Copyrighted Courses, including PPT slides, curriculum frameworks, session workflows, activity guidelines, venue arrangement plans, supporting tools and standard training outlines.
To obtain the copyright licensing rights, participants signed the CQ Copyright Course Licensing Agreement with ICT and received the official CQT Operation Manual. All trainee CQT instructors then embarked on a nine-month on-the-job mentoring and teaching internship.
Having finished the two phases of three-month practical training, the newly certified CQT trainers have started delivering CQ Management courses independently. They have deeply grasped the essence of CQ through teaching practice, achieving outstanding training results and receiving highly positive feedback from clients and participants.
Client Testimonials for CQT
"CQ has reshaped my mindset and corrected my misunderstandings about promoting reform, turning my original hesitation into positive momentum. I used to worry about potential risks during organizational restructuring, salary system adjustment and performance appraisal reform, fearing the loss of core talents. Our company’s operational system could no longer adapt to drastic market changes, yet we kept delaying necessary transformations.
After completing the CQ program, I immediately applied the learned skills and methods to roll out adjustments. Both management and employees changed their attitudes and embraced the reform actively. The CQ system is extremely practical. Only by taking the initiative to change can we avoid being eliminated. I will promote CQ culture and continuous learning across all departments, uniting the whole team to forge ahead together."
— Guo Li, General Manager, China Resources Guo Kang (Shanghai)
"CQT CQ stands out from other innovation training courses. It not only provides practical tools but also helps enterprises translate innovative ideas into real actions. Most importantly, it inspires participants to forge ahead amid uncertainties. Mr. James Chan has put tremendous effort into designing this exquisite and highly professional curriculum.
Over the three months of learning and coaching, my personal Change Quotient kept improving. I started delivering CQ courses during this period and witnessed remarkable shifts in participants’ mindsets and behaviors before and after training — this is where the true value of the program lies.
The biggest takeaways are as follows: First, CQ adopts a highly interactive, participant-oriented training model. Second, the courses are easy to implement and deliver tangible changes to learners. Third, if an enterprise consistently applies the CQ system for one year, it will foster a strong CQ culture, which will greatly fuel long-term corporate development."
— Coco Lu Hanxiao, Former CFO & Professional Trainer
"The CQT CQ curriculum is excellent and will enjoy broad market demand in the future. I plan to switch my career to become a professional trainer like Mr. James Chan, and CQ is my top choice as my core certified course. After completing the program and delivering three training sessions within three months, I gained a thorough understanding of the curriculum logic and the connection between each session.
In today’s world, both enterprises and individuals must learn to embrace change, pursue innovation and implement ideas wisely to achieve sustainable growth — and the CQ system delivers exactly that. CQT has greatly enhanced my self-awareness. I used to fear innovation and transformation, but now I will embrace new challenges wholeheartedly and keep improving my capabilities."
