While change is the only ways to live, change is the only ways organizations sustain their viability development.  An organization is just like an eagle, its lifecycle starts from exploring to acceleration growth stage, reaching the top level of harvesting and stability stage, business cash cow. It doesn’t take too long while we see it starts to decline. If it’s neither focus on further advancement, nor declined, it stays put while others overtake.

 

An eagle can typically live until age of 70, however, at the top of an eagle’s life at the age of 40, its feather grown to a stage whereby it’s too heavy to soar and its craw grown to be too blunt to hunt. At this point in time, the eagle will have to take bold action to change or waiting to die. The only ways an eagle could breakthrough and live at this stage is to pull out all its feathers and breaks all its craws. Innovation is a vital element during change. As “the same formula will not lead us to different answers”, as what Albert Einstein said.
